James Sinclair, executive chairman and co-founder of MarketFactory, was appointed to the Foreign Exchange (FX) Committee.

The Foreign Exchange Committee is sponsored by the Federal Reserve Bank of New York and is an industry group that has been providing guidance and leadership to the global foreign exchange market since its founding in 1978.

This Committee includes 26 individuals who have achieved stature within both their own institutions and marketplace. James has 35 plus years of experience in the FX industry holding leadership positions with MarketFactory, ICAP, EBS and Citibank.

James previously sat on other industry committees, most recently the Bank for International Settlements (BIS) Market Participants Group where he co-chaired the Examples Working Group formulating the examples for the FX Global Code of Conduct.
