Giving Back
MarketFactory Foundation
While we're still a young company, we'd like to start giving a little back now. We've donated 1% of our founders' equity to a nonprofit 501(c)3 organization named MarketFactory Foundation and hope to donate more in the future towards supporting the communities in which we live and work.
Environmental Awareness
Companies can be highly consumptive in their operations, starting with their places of business. As a start-up, the opportunity to minimize our carbon footprint began with selecting a location close to many forms of public transportation. Our work environment was constructed to maximize use of natural light and to leverage existing architectural elements. All paints and carpeting are non-VOC, with the carpeting made from a large percentage of recycled materials and 100% renewable energy. Vintage design elements were used when possible to not only reduce consumption and promote re-use, but to highlight the aesthetics of the loft space. Cycling to the office is encouraged; bike racks provided!
